Rental Cars are available on-site at the Vail/Eagle and Denver International Airports. During the winter season, most cars will come with snow tires and a roof-rack carrier. Advanced reservations are recommended. Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Hertz and National are all available at the Vail/Eagle Airport. One of the best ways to ensure you can take in as much as possible during your visit is to rent a car. Whether you arrange for pickup at the airport or choose to do a short-term rental from a local outfit, having your own transportation around Summit County is a luxury. If you are visiting in the winter, consider a car with four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive – these will perform the best in snowy conditions.
